Physicians and owners of the clinics “South Beach Rejuvenation” and “LA Health and Rejuvenation” were charged with illegal distribution of steroids

Jeffrey George is the owner of a former celebrated clinic connected with hormone replacement therapy. The clinic was named “South Beach Rejuvenation”. Jeffrew George was charged with illegal sales of anabolic steroids. As it was mentioned by investigators, he began tosell controlled substances through his clinic illegally. But in fact he took part in illegal activity of pain clinics established in Florida. Jeffrey George sold steroids via internet.
George and his twin brother Chris were leaders of a pain clinic activity. They got 40 million dollars due to illegal distribution of oxycodone and other analgesics during 2 years. This resulted in their accusations. Jeffrey George faced also a charge of a murder because a client of his clinic had died due to overdosing.
Jeffrey George hid his illegal activity through his clinic “South Beach Rejuvenation”. Anabolic steroids were advertising on the internet and in various magazines linked with fitness as a part of treatment conducted by the clinic.
It was not the first arrest of George due to steroids. He was charged with possession of anabolic steroids with intentions to distribute them in 2003. This man was sentenced to 8 months in prison. Later he was involved in illegal distribution of anabolic steroids, trying to bypass Florida’s laws which allowed clinics to prescribe and sell steroids legally. George didn’t have any medical education. But he founded the clinic “South Beach Rejuvenation” and employed some doctors who prescribed steroids without any fear. One of his employees was Daniel Hauser. He got 5, 000 dollars per week for prescriptions of steroids for George’s clinic.
Since steroids were sold via internet and clients lived far from the clinic, they were required to perform some tests in clinics which were located near their houses. Then they filled results of lab tests in the certain blanks and sent to the “South Beach Rejuvenation” per email. Hauser wrote them prescriptions.
Numerous sales consultants of the clinic administrated anabolic steroids too. Moreover, they bought large amounts of steroids with prescriptions and sold them on the side. The sales consultants also advised their clients how to take and combine steroids in order to reach more benefits in bodybuilding and sports.
Chris, George’s brother, helped his friend, Chris Hutson, financially to establish a clinic to distribute steroids. Thus, “LA Health and Rejuvenation” was established.
Cynthia Cadet and Robert Meek were two doctors that were employed by Hutson to prescribe anabolic steroids. They earned 1, 000 dollars per week.
The owners of these clinics and doctors hired by them were indicted on some charges, including illegal sales of anabolic steroids and prescriptions via internet.
